Xabi Alonso has some tough decisions to make after arriving at Chelsea, but one of the easiest comes on the transfer front.
Chelsea may have a whole different squad next season, as new manager Xabi Alonso looks to streamline his bloated squad following a disastrous tenth-place finish.
Topping the list of high-profile names tipped for departure is Enzo Fernandez, who is eager to leave Stamford Bridge amidst heavy interest from Real Madrid and Manchester City. Joining him is goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen, who has formally requested a transfer just a year after arriving from Villarreal.
Defensively, the Blues are willing to sanction exits for Axel Disasi and Benoit Badiashile, while Marc Cucurella is actively angling for a move back to Spain with Barcelona.
Furthermore, a permanent parting of ways could happen with Liam Delap, alongside winger Tyrique George, who is expected to be sold for pure profit to boost accountancy sheets.

We're still undecided on it!
David Datro Fofana will definitely leave Chelsea
It appears as if Chelsea will look to offload David Datro Fofana for good during the close season, after failed loan spells at Fatih Karagumruk and Strasbourg last season, according to The Athletic.
David Datro Fofana’s time at Chelsea has been defined by a revolving door of loan spells rather than actual minutes at Stamford Bridge.
Since his £12 million arrival from Molde in January 2023, the Ivorian forward has made just three senior appearances for the Blues.
Instead, he has spent his time away on developmental stints at Union Berlin and Burnley, followed by the aformentioned time between Fatih Karagumruk and Strasbourg.

Other players that could leave Chelsea this summer
Simon Johnson touched on a number of other Chelsea players that could find themselves leaving the club this summer, and it’s hard to argue with them.
Caleb Wiley and Kendry Paez, two other acquisitions that have not featured for Chelsea yet, are earmarked for a loan, as is Shim Mheuka.
Meanwhile, Omari Kellyman is expected to be loaned out again by the Blues.
And that’s not all, as Axel Disasi already has interest from a number of clubs in Europe following a good loan at West Ham United.
