Chelsea and Enzo Fernandez take on Leeds United in the second FA Cup semi-final at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.
It will be their first game since Liam Rosenior’s sacking during the week, with Calum McFarlane set to take charge.
The last time Chelsea faced Leeds, the match ended 2-2. Fernandez did not score that night, but the midfielder still put in a very good performance.
Finish our XI for the FA Cup semi-final…
Enzo Fernandez broke down Leeds’ defence extremely well
In the end, it was a really disappointing result for the Blues. It saw their winning streak in the Premier League come to an end after Fernandez and his teammates blew a two-goal lead.
Chelsea were on a run of four straight victories following triumphs over Wolverhampton Wanderers, West Ham United, Crystal Palace and Brentford. They were in great form under Rosenior, but it proved to be nothing more than a honeymoon period.
By the end of their 2-2 draw with Leeds, the new manager bounce was fully dead. Whatever the case, Fernandez still put in a display Rosenior would have been delighted with.

As per Sofascore, the 25-year-old made five key passes during the game. To put that into perspective, it was four more than any Leeds player.
Simply put, Fernandez did a great job when it came to breaking down Leeds’ defence. Based on that and the other chances that Chelsea created, they really should have won the game.
Their lack of efficiency that night and poor defending became a recurring theme, hence Rosenior no longer being in the dugout at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea’s impressive attacking numbers from previous Leeds encounter
Chelsea’s overall attacking numbers against Leeds were outstanding. If the Blues reproduce such figures at Wembley, they should win the FA Cup semi-final clash.
In the 2-2 draw at the Bridge, their xG was 3.13. They had 19 shots in total and created five big chances. On another night, Chelsea probably would have scored four or five.
Confidence is low right now and Leeds are in good form, so supporters should not expect another display with such free-flowing attacking football. But there is still enough quality in this Chelsea squad for them to reach the final.
